Altitude: Indoor Trampoline Park

Fly High!

Have some diet...Hit the gym...Take slimming pills, but still none of these work for you. Then, why not try jumping? Yes! You read it right...jumping is the new fat burner. So come and visit the first and the largest indoor trampoline park in Southern Philippines - Altitude, located along Lanang, Davao City.

It doesn't just burn your fats, it will burn your wallet as well (it's quite expensive), but somehow it is fun. The only thing is, if you want to jump like there's no tomorrow, I think you'll get disappointed. Kids (below 7 years old) and adults share the same playground. How can you ever do your thing if there are theses cute little toddlers running around that you might knock out? Yes, they have this special activity called toddlers' session scheduled every Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 to 10:30 AM, but hey! We took the 6:30 PM flight.

From the name itself, maybe you'll have an idea about their concept to add a little amusement of like traveling by plane. The ladies were dressed like flight attendants and the men were dressed like pilots.

Want to Fly? Here are their flight rates:

Monday to Thursday     = Php250.00 One way

                                  = Php450.00 Round trip

Friday to Sunday          = Php350.00 One way

                                  = Php650.00 Round trip
Platform rate               = Php100.00

Note:
*One way means 1 hour and Round trip means 2 hours; (a few minutes of jumping is already exhausting)

*Platform means you can board the plane but you cannot experience the fun and excitement like of the passenger (jumper), you are there to act as one of the flight crew (be a look out);

*Before you can book a flight, you need to sign a waiver at the information desk;

*If it is your first time to fly with them, you are required to purchase their flight socks for Php100.00 (you cannot use your ordinary socks);
Flight socks (comes in different sizes)

*In preparation for boarding, rules, and guidelines will be presented to the passenger in the waiting area;

*No accessories and gadgets allowed for the jumpers

Our advice: if you're planning to document and take pictures of you, be sure to bring someone who will just be on the platform;

*You cannot ask the flight crew to take photos of you because they have their official photographer on the plane (and you know what that means - business is a business).

Go and discover a boundless world!

Hyperbola Ball Pit-Café

Hyperbola: A Pit with a Hundred Thousand Balls

From the original concept of Jump In! Now comes its replica Hyperbola Ball Pit-Café, the 2nd ball pit for adults and the biggest in the Philippines with 150,000 balls. Located along Jacinto Extension, this place will make you relive your childhood days. Who says we are old enough to get delighted with these things? We really had fun swimming, diving, and even searching for the ring which slips off his finger (good thing the owners were so helpful and excellent in searching for things in the pit). So we suggest that before you go inside this trench, make sure you remove all your accessories that might get lost in a hundred thousand of balls. But if you want a challenge, you can toss a coin into the pit and search for it...finder's keeper!

THE BALL PIT

This café will definitely go a long way because if its heart to give and share. An hour of play can change and save lives because a portion of the play fees goes to Campus Evangelization Learning Center and House of Hope Foundation for Kids with Cancer. Island Garden City of Samal

Kalinawan Resort: Peace and Adventure in One

Want to own a resort even just for a day? Kalinawan Resort might be what you are looking for. 23 km away from Davao City, you will discover one of the secret paradises in Samal island. Managed by a group of friends who aims to give the highest quality of service to their clients. They want their place to be known as the venue for peace (kalinaw in Bisaya) and adventure in one. Tying up with one of the outdoor specialists for your unforgettable experience, I may say, is one of their great moves to attract tourists considering the fact that it's quite far. They also want the visitors to feel safe and secure so they don’t allow walk-ins (as of this time). Better if you contact them ahead of time to avoid hassles.

For a minimal amount of Php8,500.00 (good for 10 pax) and Php550.00 per head in excess of, you will get to enjoy the entire place with the free use of kitchen utensils and gas stove (with LPG). If you are thinking for any corkage fee, well there is none, because here what you will pay for is the place itself. Clear beach water, relaxing ambiance, and a quiet place, perfect for a summer getaway or retreat. The management really wants their clients to make Kalinawan Resort be their home away from home. So if you are planning to escape the stressful city life, try considering this place.
